How to restore firmware CMP-741e CMP-741x With PhoenixCard

Hello.

I'm going to show you step by step how to download and install android for this models.
CMP-741e CMP-741x Craig tablet 7".
This Guide can be used for many other tablets/models that use PhoenixCard

Step 1
Download firmware:























Website : http://www.craigelectronics.com/site/


On the Product search, enter your model number and click on search.




Click on Details.

Scroll down until you see:

Android 4.0Installation GuideDownload

From this point Click on download and wait until its ready.

Step2:
Unzip files and save to anywhere, i prefer drive C:
(No pictures for this step is needed)

Step 3:
Very important!
Insert a MicroSd Card on the reader/port
Before you try to burn a card, disable any other card readers/Ports or "BURN" button will be disabled
or "Gray Turned"



Picture is just for reference !

From this point just choose ur Drive, Click Product, And burn :)
Everything its ready.

Step 4
Turn off ur tablet.

Step 5
Plug into power adapter

Step 6
Insert MicroSd Card in the tablet (One that just been burned)

Step 7
Wait until green bar fills and tablet reboot

Step 8
Remove MicroSd Card from tablet

Step 9
Turn back on the tablet

Step 10

How to install POS58 USB THERMAL PRINTER: Correct settings

*First we need to download the driver
For convinience i've uploaded it to mediafire

*Do the steps before connecting printer

On the download screen click on "Download (446.65kb";
its just the setup driver for POS58 USB THERMAL PRINTER

Or click on the image for download:



Click save or run:
If u click run you will see this screen:

Click on " More options" then go to " Run anyway"


If u click save follow the instruccions


Execute aplication, and perhaps some dialog box appears, it will ask you for permissions, allow it
driver only for "POS58 USB THERMAL PRINTER "


After finish install, choose the correct OS ( most of the time installer detects them automatically)
and click "Next"


leave everything as is, click ok
( LPT1: & "Set as default printer" for POS enviroment )



Click finish, and make sure " View printer porperty...." its checked
FROM NOW CONNECT PRINTER TO USB PORT


Once there goto advanced



Change original " LPT1: Printer port"


Change it for " USB001 Virtual port for..." and click apply


You can print a test page; now your printer POS58 should work
Finish click apply.



*I made this guide for windows 7, but u can use it for every supported version.

Welcome to Microsoft answers.
As a work around you need to follow these below provided steps in order to troubleshoot this issue.
 Now you need to uninstall the printer on your computer, to do that please follow the steps provided below.
 1.       Open Devices and Printers by clicking the Start, and then, on the Start menu, clicking Devices and Printers.
2.       Right-click the printer that you want to remove, click Remove device, and then click Yes.
If you can't delete the printer, right-click it again, click Run as administrator, click Remove device, and then click Yes.  If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Now you need to install the printer again on your computer and check for the issue to do that please follow the steps provided below.
 1.       Open Devices and Printers by clicking the Start, and then, on the Start menu, clicking Devices and Printers.
2.       Click Add a printer.
3.       In the Add Printer wizard, click Add a local printer.
4.       On the Choose a printer port page, make sure that the Use an existing port button and the recommended printer port are selected, and then click Next.
5.       On the Install the printer driver page, select the printer manufacturer and model, and then click Next.
·         If your printer isn't listed, click Windows Update, and then wait while Windows checks for additional drivers.
·         If none are available and you have the installation CD, click Have Disk, and then browse to the folder where the printer   driver is located. (For additional help, consult the printer manual.)
6.       Complete the additional steps in the wizard, and then click Finish.

 If none of the above provided steps resolve the issue then you need to install the latest drivers for the printer and check for the issue.
